Q&A with Terra:

What is your favorite part about working on the Marketing team? The collaboration and amazing energy! Could you tell us about how your old industry compares to the senior care industry? Coming from the beauty and wellness industry, I've been struck by how similar the senior care industry is—especially when comparing senior living communities to spas, and home care to salons. The business models share many similarities, particularly in how they prioritize personalized experiences and client relationships. The biggest common thread is the heart behind the work: in both industries, people are driven by a genuine desire to make a difference and enhance the lives of those they work with.

What excites you most about working in partnerships?

Finding and creating meaningful relationships. It's incredibly rewarding to turn a simple connection into long-term collaborations that are beneficial to both companies, but most importantly to our mutual customers!

Why WelcomeHome?

WelcomeHome has three core values that truly reflect who the company is: Listen, Care, and Commit. They aren't just words, they truly guide the company and have shaped a culture that feels intentional, inclusive, and purpose-driven. It was those values and the people that I met through the process that drew me in.

I wanted to be part of a company where placing customers at the center of decisions-with integrity and accountability-is not just encouraged, but expected.
